The recent Miami event went well for RP Motorsport and WebLaps.com founder Jim Daniels. RP Motorsport driver, Pratt Cole, led the team’s effort by being on top of the time sheets in most of the sessions, winning the pole for race two, setting the fast race lap and finishing second in the event. This was Pratt’s first career pole and first career hot lap award. Race one had Pratt in the third qualifying position. Pratt moved up to second but was promptly sidelined due to a cut down right rear tire. After a scary moment in Nascar turn four Pratt safely got the car to pit lane for a tire change and then completed the race some laps down.
RP Motorsport driver, Brad Adams, had a consistent weekend of learning and managing his car. Brad’s short tenure in racing does not hold him back. Brad qualified and finished in the top 10 in both events improving position from his qualifying spot and earning a 7th in race one and a career best 5th in race two. Way to go Brad!
Due to track restrictions on minimum age our youngest driver, Ben Crosland, did not compete. However, Ben will be in full action at the next event at VIR.
Look for our cars to be near the front all year in this action packed V8 ground pounding series!
